  10. Hi,
  11.     We have successfully installed 386BSD on a 486DX/8/100, OPTI
  12. chipset and we are having trouble configuring the WD 8003E card.
  13.  
  14. Bootup reports :-    we0 ethernet address <blah> at 0x280 irq9 on isa
  15.  
  16. We've set the card for IRQ 2, 280 and D800.
  17.  
  18. When trying to run 'ifconfig we0 x.y.z.w', the machine grinds to a halt
  19. and the command isn't even completed, ie. no prompt returned.
  20.  
  21. Any help appreciated.
