  13. If I assemble a system myself, using the exact same name-brand COMPONENTS (such
  14. as motherboard, HD, floppies, controller, etc.) that are used in big-name PC
  15. makers like DELL and GATEWAY, would there be any difference on performance 
  16. between those two systems?

  18. If there is, what are the causes to the difference?  The performance can be
  19. said to be the speed and reliability of running programs, or just the Norton
  20. Performance Index.
