- If I assemble a system myself, using the exact same name-brand COMPONENTS (such
- as motherboard, HD, floppies, controller, etc.) that are used in big-name PC
- makers like DELL and GATEWAY, would there be any difference on performance
- between those two systems?

- If there is, what are the causes to the difference? The performance can be
- said to be the speed and reliability of running programs, or just the Norton
- Performance Index.
