- I was told to repost this minus one group, since that group does not
- do CFP. Why does that whole thing have to be reposted if one reject it?
- Such are the questions for the uninformed. Anyway here it goes again.
-
- Due to some technical problems with getting the CFP out to the world the
- due date has been extended. Please get your abstracts in ASAP to assist
- the review committee. This is the tenth conference and should be the best
- yet. Just a note to those that think they have a paper to present but
- feel that they are not an expert enough to do so. Submit a abstract.
- If the topic is a good one and you know about it then that is all that is
- needed.

- Call For Papers
-
- SUN USER GROUP
- Tenth Annual Conference
- December 8-10, 1992
- San Jose, California
-
-
- OPERATING SYSTEMS:
- SOLARIS 2.0/SVR4 and Alternatives
-
-
-
- The Sun User Group is pleased to announce its Tenth Annual Conference
- and Exhibit, which will address the current state of the Sun Operating
- System. Technical papers and presentations concerning both Solaris
- and alternates to it, as well as other topics of interest to the Sun/SPARC
- community, are invited. Manufacturers of computer equipment and software
- based on SPARC/SunOS technology are encouraged to participate with
- conference presentations, as well as in the associated exhibition
- which will be operated by Publications and Communications, Inc.
-
-
- Topics on which we are soliciting papers:
- Solaris 2.0: What's in it for You
- Solaris 2.0 on Intel
- Other OS for SPARC
- System Administration - beginning and advanced tools
- Printing and Multimedia
- Programming and Development Environments
- Suns in the Office and the Home
- Realtime and Non-Realtime Development and Research
-
-
- There will also be a Technical Product track. Vendors are invited
- to describe the compelling technical advantages of their products,
- with references to current and new material. Papers which merely profile
- a company's product are poorly received and therefore have little
- chance of being accepted for presentation.
-
-
- SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
-
- Submissions should be in the form of extended abstracts (750 to 1000
- words) and be sufficiently complete to allow the committee to understand

- number(s).
- 2. Title of the paper
- 3. Presenter name(s), postal and e-mail address(es), and

- 4. Time needed for presentation/questions
- (slots are available in lengths of 30, 45, 60, or 90 minutes)

- indicate WITH YOUR SUBMISSION your student status.
-
- Authors whose submissions are accepted will receive instructions for
