  17. The vast majority of WD cards allow software configuration.  Check for a
  18. jumper marked "Soft".  If you have the WD Drivers disk that came with
  19. the card you can try to check that things are working by setting the
  20. values and then running test.  It'll soon tell you if the software
  21. configuration has worked.
