- I seem to be having a similiar problem, 386bsd boots from the conner
- 3420 205 meg IDE drive fine when the whole 205 meg is used but when
- a small dos partition is used with 386bsd placed in the second partition,
- the system continuously reboots with a very quick message saying something
- about the disklabel. When I examined the disklabel with the fixit disk,
- it appeared obviously wrong, with rev rate of 0 when it should be 3600,
- interleave of 0 when it should be 1, etc.. tried editing it with
- disklabel -e wd0 after making some space but to no avail.
-
- I'd like to hear from people who have successfully installed it on an IDE
- drive w/msdos.
-
- Thanks.
