- Has anyone had any luck using Techworks Ethernet IIsi with A/UX 3.0?
- I got their A/UX 3.0 drivers and installed off the SE/30 diskette. I
- then had to edit /etc/install.d/master.d/ae6 for newconfig to recognize the
- card. (The SE/30 card has an id of 852, the IIsi of 1104). Verbose newconfig
- says I have something else (id 40, slot 14) which it can't find a driver for.
- Is this related?
- Anyway, when the newconfig is all over, I get the message that no
- Ethernet cards are found. So when I do a newconfig bnet, I am never asked for
- an IP address, hostname, etc.
- Also, I can't get Ethertalk in A/UX to work over this card. I had to
- hack the installer script just to install the Ethertalk IIsi driver. (I just
- got rid of the routine where the Installer checks for installed boards. It was
- crashing the program. I did a Custom install.)
- Thanks for any help you can give.
