- I had reported the slowdown from After Dark. I discounted the
- possibility of an init conflict because the only ones I run are ATM,
- SuperClock and AccessPC (plus the apple standards).

- I did a more thorough init-conflict check, and discovered that AD
- conflicts with an old version of SuperClock, if SuperClock is set to
- chime the number of hours (which doesn't work under A/UX anyway) on
- the hour. How 'bout that for esoterica?
