  16. Yah...  I've got a Mac II (vintage!) that's been running monochrome for
  17. 5 years.  I'm thinking about upgrading to color, but what monitors can I
  18. be sure of for A/UX and X(R5) compatibility.  I want to go to higher
  19. res., too--how much is that supported?

  21. Specifically, does anyone know about the NEC 3 or 4FG (w/ MacFG 8X)?
  22. What resolutions can I use with the X11R5 binaries that exist, can I
  23. even boot to the A/UX console emulator?

  27. On another note, NEC has a deal going right now where if you get a MacFG
  28. "display solution," they'll get you a CDR-37 reader.  Can I use this
  29. with A/UX?  I can't find any resolution to whether or not this type of
  30. drive will work with A/UX...  Or, as a separate issue, whether or not
  31. it can be used to install A/UX 3.0 (I'm still using 2.0.1--much improved
  32. from 1.1 :-).
