- Since I reset the clock on an AUX/3.0 machine here to the correct
- timezone, (and not kept accurate with ntp), there has been a funny
- problem with background printing from the Finder.
-
- When a user tries to print something and background printing is off,
- all works well. If it is on, nothing appears to happen, but the file
- get's printed one hour later. If you go to the printmonitor, the job
- has been queued to be printed in one hour. If you then go to adjust
- the time, the default it gives is the current time (so it knows the
- right time), and if you say ok, it prints at once.
-
- I suspect that somethign is doing the Daylight saving correction
- twice, but I'm not a Mac person (I look after the Suns and HPs here
- mainly), any hints? Is there a FAQ for this group?
-
- In case it matters we are running 3.0 on a Quadra 700, and our
- Timezone is BST (British Summer Time), which is one hour daylight
- saving from GMT.
