- Unmount the filesystem(s) and look at the modes of the mountpoint(s).

- Are they 0700 or less?

- If so, this is an 'feature' of the logical filesystem and how it
- traverses backwards over mountpoints. I don't think it'll be fixed.
- I believe we determined a long time ago that fixing it caused a
- performance hit and that it was easier to just leave your mountpoints
- at 755.
