- When this happens on our HFT's, the only way I know to unhang it
- (without rebooting) is to log in to another tty as root, then cat some
- junk to /dev/hft/1. The cat will hang for a few minutes, then it will
- return, and voila, the hft will be freed... Can anyone explain why
- this works? I'd guess it has something to do with forcing a
- screen-mode switch at the next timeout period (I'm not sure WHAT times
- out)...
