- This is probably a FAQ, but I haven't seen it or a 3.2 FAQ list yet, so...

- Could some kind soul explain to me how what IBM ships relates to what MIT
- provides, and how to compile network available X applications under the
- IBM 3.2 scheme? I found a README file in the /usr/lpp/X11 subdirectory
- that enabled me to generate 'the rest of' X11R4 (though libXaw.a seems to
- have gotten trashed when I did a 'make clean' at the end (which the README
- did /not/ tell me to do, I will admit)). I also have a script I got off
- the net some time ago that seems to be a replacement for the missing
- xmkmf. Using this, I got xrn to compile, but only after I edited the
- generated Makefile to set TOP=/usr/lpp/X11 so it knew that the various
- libxxx.a's actually existed. But when I run xrn, it doesn't seem to find
- it's app-defaults file, even though make install put it in the right place.
- The quoted statement above is how I'm working around this for now, but
- it is definately not what I /want/ to do. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
