  19. Try xinit with a .xinitrc file containing just the line:

  24. I compiled X11R5 (AIX 3.2.0) a few days ago and got most of it working.

  26. But there remains one annoying problem:
  27. Clients started with DISPLAY set to  ':0'  can't connect to the server,
  28. while  'localhost:0'  works just fine ...
  29.  
  30. Does anybody know what's wrong with opening a UNIX domain 
  31. socket to the server (MITSHM got compiled in as well ...) ?
  32.  
  33. Or, even better, is there a workaround/patch ?
