- You might be seing just the same problem as we ...
-
- Try xinit with a .xinitrc file containing just the line:
-
- xterm -d localhost:0
-
-
- I compiled X11R5 (AIX 3.2.0) a few days ago and got most of it working.
-
- But there remains one annoying problem:
- Clients started with DISPLAY set to ':0' can't connect to the server,
- while 'localhost:0' works just fine ...
-
- Does anybody know what's wrong with opening a UNIX domain
- socket to the server (MITSHM got compiled in as well ...) ?
-
- Or, even better, is there a workaround/patch ?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
