  10. I have a friend who a has recently done an upgrade to aix 3.2.2.  He creates a
  11. new volume group with 2K physical partitions.  There are a total of 494 PP's
  12. available on the drive in that VG.  He then tries to create a logical volume 
  13. and he allocates all 494 PP's.  Some how the volume group identifier gets 
  14. overwritten and he has to recreate the VG.

  16. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

  18. With aix 3.1.5 you would get a message that there are not enough PP's available
  19. because it needs to create the jfslog.
