  11. For the 2 previous months, I had successfully used mksysb to back up 
  12. my machine.  Now mksysb fails with (from smit.log):

  29. Reading the mksysb script it looks like this is the step where the
  30. bosinst image is written to tape.  Does the bosinst image not exist?
  31. I've increased the sizes of /tmp & /var to:

  33. /dev/hd9var       8192    7412    9%      87     4% /var
  34. /dev/hd3         16384   15796    3%      27     0% /tmp
  35.  
  36. I have no manual pages for mkinsttape or bosinst.

  39. Any hints as to the problem?  Thanks in advance.
