  13. I need advice on setting up & using an install server. 
  14. Specifically, is it possible to set up a Sun 4/280 to
  15. provide installation service from its 8mm tape drive?

  17. System is an RS6000 running AIX 3.2.2, & is the only AIX
  18. machine in our department.

  20. In the event that this scenario is impossible, i could
  21. use advice on attatching a non-IBM 8mm tape drive to the
  22. RS6000. My SE says that there may be some compatibility
  23. issues, but he was vague (IBMers talking about non-IBM
  24. products usually are ;-)
