- When compiling Fortran program under GNU emacs 18.57 (M-x compile), users
- report that Fortran error messages are not parsed properly by M-x next-error.
- Upon inspection, the error messages produced under the xlf 2.2.109.1 compiler
- under AIX 3.2.1 do not include the file name at the beginning, probably
- confusing compile.el
-
- xlc has -qsrcmsg options that change the format of the error messages; I see
- no such flag for xlf that would allow compile.el to do its job.
-
- Had anyone found a workaround?
