- I was just wondering if anyone is using disk quotas on an ULTRIX system. If so,
- what are the pitfalls? I have been to a DEC ULTRIX System Administrator class,
- and the instructor warned against using disk quotas, but I wasn't sure if
- this was a bug in ULTRIX, or if it was just a personal opinion. We have a great
- number of students taking up disk space without regard to others, and it would
- be beneficial to us to have disk quotas enabled, at least for students.
-
- If you have used disk quotas, do you have to set them up at installation time,
- or can you set them up on an existing ULTRIX system? I don't have that much
- documentation on the subject, so I'm not sure about it (obviously).
-
- Thanks for the help in advance.
