  14. I'm interested in the determination of basins of attraction, in
  15. particular connected to Newton's method.
  16. I'd like to find some optimized implementation of Hsu's Simple and
  17. Generalized Cell Mapping and description and/or software for other methods.

  19. About Newton's method and Julia sets, I have some questions for you:

  21. Do you know of some function for which the ORIGINAL
  22. (not relaxed!) Newton's method exhibits a strange attractor?
  23.  
  24. Do you know if an indifferent periodic point can be assigned to the Julia
  25. set or to the Fatou set by only looking at its eigenvalue?
  26.  
  27. Do you know of any systematic or case study of the application of Newton's
  28. method to polynomials of degree greater than 3 or to systems of equations?
  29.
