  13. I am currently in the process of trying to write a Life program
  14. for the PC.  I would like any and all suggestions for possible
  15. algorithms and methods for computing next generation,displaying,
  16. storing, etc...
  17.  
  18. In particular, I would like to know more about the algorithm
  19. used in Xlife.  It seems rather intriguing, but as such is
  20. poorly documented and I don't really have access to any sort of
  21. X-term to run it.
