  10. Hi!
  11.     I need help from the LaTex gurus in changing the the font of caption. in
  12. report.sty. It is easy to change the font of the caption but the part where 
  13. LaTex assigns the figure or table number does not change.  I know that LaTex 
  14. uses a macro    \@makecaption to print both the parts of the caption.  I would 
  15. like to modify the command without having to make another report.sty.  Some 
  16. similar command like \renewcommand to change the macro would be ideal. Is there
  17. a way to do something like this in Latex? 
  18. Any pointers would be appreciated.
