- Please, don't name NEC P6 or similar printers. They might be able to
- position with a precision of 1/360 in, but their dots are much wider
- than 1/360 in. They are simply not 360 dpi printers, they cannot put
- 360 dots in one inch (yeah, that's *d*p*i*!) without gross
- overlapping.

- (Just a pet peeve of mine... ;-) The person who cannot distinguish
- its impact printer output from an HP LaserJet III (with RET) might
- want to check his METAFONT mode definitions for the latter. They are
- clearly distinguishable -- the former is _much_ bolder.
