  12. A new TeX (Version 3.14t3) was installed here early this year
  13. which gives a LaTeX  Version 2.09 (dated 14 Jan 1991).

  15. I understood that this gave the NFSS system automatically but
  16. all my attempts to get easy operation of \large, \Large and \LARGE with
  17. \sf and \bf fail and I now presume we do not actually have NFSS running.
  18. What I am after is text in several larger than normal bold sans serif
  19. sizes interspersed with same size cmr maths fonts for seminar slides.
  20.  
  21. How do I check whether we have it or not and if NOT where do I suggest
  22. the Administrator look for Installation Instructions presuming the
  23. files are in the distribution we have?
