- Hi there,
- I have the following hardware/software with me:
-
- An AT-compatible machine with 486-33Mhz CPU running Dos 5.0. It has
- 4-megs of RAM and 200-Megs of space on the hard drive. In addition, I also
- have a color super VGA monitor and a Canon BJ-10ex printer.
-
- I recently went through the FAQ which listed various tex related software,
- and where one could get it. However, I didn't find any recommendations as to
- what tex package is most suitable for what machine(8086, 80286, 80386,...).
-
- To those of you, who have used Tex/LaTex on AT-compatible machines, my
- question is:
-
- What Tex package would utilize the above mentioned machine configuration to
- its maximum possible extent?? I am mostly interested in LaTex packages
- available in public domain.
-
- thanks a lot
