  13. Ok, I'm going to express a great amount of ignorance.

  15. The big question: Is AMSLaTeX (using oldlfont.sty or whatever) roughly
  16. backwardly compatible to LaTeX 2.09?  I realize that stylefiles may not
  17. be portable, but could the typical user *easily* port his papers from
  18. the old to the new?
