- I think that I am not atypical in thinking that this shortening
- of Texas Instruments' name sounds very weird to people here in the
- States. Generally, we refer to them as TI. Obviously, Texas brings
- to mind the state. Not an insightful message, I know, but traffic is
- low in this group anyway.
