- This story has resurfaced recently. It is referring to problems encountered
- some time (c. 1 year) ago, not to anything discovered recently.
-
- Recent progress on the T9000 has been good - a trade paper (Electronics
- Times?) reported CORRECTLY that the T9000 alpha silicon has now come
- out of fabrication and is being tested. The first fully integrated T9000
- device should enter fab shortly.
-
- (Note: the T9000 alpha contains all components of the T9000 except for
- the virtual channel system; that is it contains processor, FPU, cache,
- external memory interface, control unit and control links).
