  10. I believe a fair number of Coco heads hang around in these parts and might
  11. be able to assist me.  I need information regarding the following items:

  13. 1.  I have a multipak interface and for some reason I recall a modification
  14.     that needs to be done for this to work effectively with my CoCo 3.  Is
  15.     this the case and if so, what modification needs to be done?

  17. 2.  I am using a FD-501 floppy drive.  It has only one drive installed.  Can
  18.     I use a normal "IBM" 360K type drive for the 2nd floppy drive?  Also,
  19.     should the disk controller ROM work OK with my CoCo 3?
  20.  
  21. 3.  My CoCo 3 only has the standard 128K of memory installed.  I have done a
  22.     fair amount of hardware soldering and so forth.  Are there readily 
  23.     available instructions to upgrade the memory to 512K without buying the
  24.     kits that the various firms are selling? (I already have mundo memory
  25.     chips around the house).

  27. 4.  Are they readily available instructions for building my own hard drive
  28.     interface for the CoCo 3?  If so, where would I find them?

  30. 5.  If I want to run OS-9 and do C programming, what versions do I need to
  31.     work effectively with my CoCo 3?

  33. 6.  What are the "hot" programs for this system that are must haves that are
  34.     either public domain or shareware?
  35.  
  36. I just recently purchased this system and would appreciate any information for
  37. a "newbie".  Thanks in advance.
