  10. For Sale:  PC-Express 286 Board for Tandy 1000, 1000A, 1000SX.  Mint 
  11. condition with all original packaging and documentation.

  13. The PC-Express board was marketed by Tandy ($299 in Tandy catalogs) and 
  14. built by an outside firm.  
  15.  
  16. Pro:  It replaces the 8088 cpu with a 286 cpu.  In my 1000SX it triples 
  17. the speed of most functions.

  19. Con:  It requires one slot, and the machine remains an 8-bit computer.

  21. I have other computers now, and I need money, so I'm skeletonizing my 
  22. trusty 1000SX.  The 286 board is first to go.
