- Someone (I think in this group) occasionally posts a *very* exhaustive list
- of assembler opcodes that you wish actually existed. Most are just jokes
- (BM - Branch if Maybe, or AO - Annoy Operator), but this is the second time
- I've heard of an actual implementation of my favorite on the list, HCF. The
- other story was about an undocumented 8080 opcode used for stress testing
- that would rapidly "strobe bus lines" (whatever that means. I'm not a bare
- metal hardware type), eventually cooking the chip. If I can dig up my copy
- of the list I'll post it. Till then, be afraid. Be very afraid. PV
