  10. The configuration is a brand new Sun 4/6x0 running SunOS 4.1.2.  The
  11. Exabyte 8500c that was shipped with it acts sort of funny.

  13. Every time you access it you get this message:

  17. This includes "mt", "dump", "restore", etc.  We don't have a problem
  18. ignoring this message, but we wonder if the fact that we get it all the
  19. time means that something is wrong.  Usually this is something that you
  20. only see on boot up.

  22. Has anyone else seen this problem?  It can't be a cable length problem
  23. because this is installed internally and I doubt the cable could be any
  24. shorter.  (we've looked).
