Recently I became involved with supporting Sun workstations at our company. In the past year we have acquired approximately 100 new Sun IPC/ IPX workstations with 19" color monitors, and external disk drives (424). However, we need to make some decisions as to how to service this equipment in the upcoming year. We have had them on a service contract, but really feel that we should attempt to go to a time and materials contract. However, we require that the equipment be serviced that day or early the nex

Anyway, If anyone could please send me any statistical information on failure rates
and or your personal experiences with this equipment, I would greatly appreciate it.
