- This is a result of the host adapter driver (esp) negotiating for the sync.
- offset and period with the device (i.e. the DEC drive). Usually this should
- only happen once (during probe/attach). Sounds like you may be getting
- some intermittent SCSIbus resets or some other data related error condition.

- Well, the SCSA driver(s) are handling the conditions pretty well. What you
- may want to check (to reduce or eliminate this) is your SCSI termination -
- Only 2 - one on the SUN end (thats a given) and one on the last drive
- on your SCSIbus. Also make sure TERMPWR is ok - pin 24 should be around 5V.
- Last but not least, make sure your cables are as short as possible.
