- Normally with 10BaseT Cables they are 8 wires (actually only 4 are used)
- wired straight through. This is the normal situation where you have a
- 10BaseT hub DRIVING Outputs to the 10BaseT tranceivers on the
- workstations. If you are doing what I think you are doing which is
- connecting the two tranceivers on the workstations back to back with the
- 10BaseT cable and not using a hub then you will have to use a cross-over
- 10BaseT cable which crosses over the Transmit and Receive pairs:
