- Hello,
-
- The letter at the end of this posting was sent to sun-managers.
- It describes a problem encountered with the power supplies on colour
- monitors. The one caveat is that these power supplies are different
- from the ones in N.A. (the problem occurred in Europe, 240V)
-
- To paraphrase: when there is an abrupt brightness surge due to the
- opening of a large white window the power supply on the monitor may
- die. I assume they had a black background when they opened this
- window.
- My question: has anyone in N.A. had similar problems? We
- have several of these monitors and we're considering putting them
- on a service contract.
-
-
- Thank you
- Matthew
