- Subject: GDS-II Electromask software avail?
- Lines: 18
-
- One of my users needs a software tool that allows him to manipulate or
- convert data into the GDS-II format. GDS-II is used to create electromasks
- by an Electron beam machine.
-
- His data consists of a 512x512x8 bit grayscale image. He would like an
- electromask of this image, with each pixel in the 512x512 image having
- sub-pixels made up of a specific number and pattern of hexagons (depending
- on the grayscale values). In order to do this, all of the vendors he has
- contacted want data in the GDS-II format.
-
- Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? Please send email
- because don't read this newsgroup.
-
- PS - The software is for a Sun 4 and I can handle CD-ROM and up to 150M
- 1/4 inch tape.
