  12.     Is anyone else running with this patch installed who is
  13. also running the amd automounter?

  17. Built by barr@darwin for a sun4 running sos4.

  19.     Problem: After restarting servers, amd will hang and time
  20. out when requesting mounted filesystems.  Often, the portmapper
  21. on the machine on which the requested filesystem resides will dump
  22. core.  (Sometimes it dumps and dies totally, other times it dumps
  23. core but stays running)
  24.     After renaming or removing /var/yp/securenets and restarting
  25. ypbind, ypserv, and ypxfrd, the symptoms go away.  I have contacted the
  26. author of amd, but have not yet gotten a reply.  The problem appears to
  27. be with ypserv, but have triple checked my securenets file, and it
  28. appears to be fine.
