- I have a 690MP running 4.1.2. He serves about 30 diskless clients who
- are all running 4.1.1.
-
- I need to upgrade SOME of the clients to 4.1.2.
-
- When I run add_services and say I want to add a new release: Sun4c 4.1.2
- The system automatically points kvm to /export where it should go, but
- executables are in /usr by default. No matter what I do, the system wants
- to put root (required) on /, even if I change executables to
- /export/exec/sunos.sun4c.4.1.2
-
- That would be disastrous, so I'm afraid to pull the trigger. What simple
- idiot thing did I miss? I've been through the manuals, and they claim that
- the executables in /usr (default entry) is correct.
-
- What's going on?
