- No this is exactly what you can do. In fact that's what I do here.

- The reason not everyone runs DNS-only is that you can't assume that
- a given NIS domain is under the same administration as a DNS domain.
- You can't trust everyone who sets up their nameserver to include
- "localhost.dom.ain in a 127.1". You can get into philosophical
- debates on the pros and cons of doing this, but in the end, it works.
