- I recently upgraded our Sun 3/50 from V4.0.1 to V4.1.1. Just about everything
- seems to be working once again except that I don't get a 'login:' prompt when
- dialing in via the modem attached to ttyd0. UUCP, however, is working, so I'm
- inclined to think that something strange is going on. I've restored 'ttytab',
- 'gettytab', and termcap; I can't find anything else which seems to relate to
- modem dial-ins. Also, in a possibly related development, all modem logins,
- including UUCP, used to be displayed on the console. Now they aren't.
-
- Can anyone shed some light on what else I may need to reconfigure/restore? I
- did rebuild the kernel, I don't know if that has an effect on /dev/ttyd0...
-
- Thanks for the help,
-
