  11. I have an old Sun3 workstation, and am running SunOS 4.0.3.  I have
  12. several disks that I have mounted over the network via nfs.  If I do
  13. a df, to find out how much disk space I have available, I can find out
  14. the info on all the disks.  Now, the problem comes when one of the remote
  15. machines is down.  df can find the info on that disk, because the system
  16. is not up.  df seems to just sit there and re-try.  I can not do a cntrl-C
  17. to break it.  I even tried logging in from another window and doing a
  18. kill -9 on df.  No luck!  The only thing I could do to kill it was to
  19. reboot.
