- I have an old Sun3 workstation, and am running SunOS 4.0.3. I have
- several disks that I have mounted over the network via nfs. If I do
- a df, to find out how much disk space I have available, I can find out
- the info on all the disks. Now, the problem comes when one of the remote
- machines is down. df can find the info on that disk, because the system
- is not up. df seems to just sit there and re-try. I can not do a cntrl-C
- to break it. I even tried logging in from another window and doing a
- kill -9 on df. No luck! The only thing I could do to kill it was to
- reboot.
-
- Any suggestions?
