- I am contemplating the following setup, and am not sure if
- it will work or not, opinions would be appreciated.
-
- I have a Sun 4/490 with an NC400 ehternet card and the ie0
- standard interface. I want to configure the machine so that
- test_nfs address is configured to ne0, and test is configured
- to the ie0 interface. then I would setup automount, bootparams
- and other NFS type transactions would go through ne0, and
- non-NFS traffic would be thru the ie0 interface. Both of these
- interfaces would be on the smae piece of wire. I am wondering
- specifically about address broadcasting, and confusion between
- the two interfaces.
-
- Has anyone done this? Can it be done?
-
-
- TIA
