  12. I used how-to-fix-sun-dns.sh from nexus.yorku.ca to build a shared C lib with 
  13. the DNS resolver routines.  I'm running 4.1.2 on a Sparc.

  15. After installation, network utilities work fine with domain names.
  16. However, I now need to link in the dynamic linker lib
  17. whenever doing C linking. i.e. I need to link using 'cc -ldl'.

  19. Any idea why this is now the case, or how to fix the prob?
