  13. I got a number of e-mail requests for info about netatalk.  I read
  14. about it in this news group a while ago + now use it on a Sun Sparc1+
  15. serving several Macs with NFS disk space and Unix print spooler.

  17. It is VERY good and it is free.  The only limitation is that it can't
  18. coexist with localtalk (ethertalk only + system 7 driver needed).

  20. We also use the Mac version of NCSA Telnet.

  35. netatalk is a kernel-level implementation of the AppleTalk Protocol
  36. Suite for BSD-derived systems. netatalk's primary services are routing,
  37. file service, print spooling, and outbound printing, in an AppleTalk
  38. networking environment.  The current release contains support for
  39. EtherTalk Phase I.
