  16. May be this simply is a faq ? (I did not get a Sun-Modem-FAQ yet)
  17. or may be it's simply not in the hardware, but...

  19. On the first four ports of our ALM2(aka MCP0)-Board we get the
  20. Hardware-Handshake to work setting 'crtscts'.
  21. On ALL OTHER ports Pin 4 simply does nothing !
  22. In case of connection faster than 9600bd
  23. (or without XON/XOFF) the Line is then unusable.

  25. Does anybody know what to change ?  Please mail to 'stucki@math.fu-berlin.de'.

  27. The manual ('man mcp') says only at the end the following cryptic message:
  28. BUGS
  29.      Note: pin 4 is used for hardware flow control on ALM-2 ports
  30.      0  through 3.  These two pins should  n o t  be tied together on
  31.      the ALM end.
