- We have 3 at queues set up, 2 job limit for each, the queues have different
- "nice values". We have programmes that automatically submit jobs to these
- queues. My problem is that sometimes a user might have 20 jobs in a
- queue, and another user may then submit a job to this queue. I would like
- to be able to manage the queues, e.g. moving the last user in the example above
- to another queue so that there is no long delay, or maybe changing the job
- numbers so the last user can "jump the queue". I can't find any information
- on queue management or even if queue management is is possible. Has any one run
- into this type of problem and been able to solve it ? Coming from a VMS
- environment where queue management is very easy I find it somewhat frustrating
- not being able to juggle the queue jobs round.
