  11. In a few weeks I have to move our communications server from a
  12. HP9000/835 HP-UX8.0 to a SPARCserver 4/490 with SunOS4.1.1 (eventually
  13. 4.1.2).
  14. As I read the comp.sys.sun.* groups regurarly, I remember that there
  15. was once a problem running NIS server and DNS server concurrently on a
  16. sun. Setting up a sun DNS client is a cake (just 'make' in /var/yp
  17. with the -b switch activated in the Makefile, and creating
  18. /etc/resolv.conf). However, I believe I read once something about
  19. patching some binaries, if DNS and NIS should run together...
  20. Anybody knows more?
