  13. I have attempted to install OW3 on an IPC running 4.1.1b, but
  14. get an xinit error: can't contact server errno(2)
  15. when it is invoked. I have tried manually starting xnews,
  16. using :0 or unix:0 as the display. This generates a "bus err".

  18. Openwin-init and .Xauthority ARE created in the login directory,
  19. the OW2 stuff having been removed ( .xinitrc, etc).
  20. /usr/openwin IS a symbolic link, but the paths seem to be resolved
  21. without problems.

  23. There was an OSpatch in $OW~/lib, which said it was for 4.1.1,
  24. which installed successfully.

  26. OW3 installed and worked fine on an IPX running 4.1.2 ( other than psh ).
  27. What have I forgotten/overlooked?
