  14.    I'm interested in what folks are doing with our ( and others )
  15. multi-processor boxes ( and vector ones for that matter ).  This is
  16. only for personal interest, since I only have a limited knowledge of
  17. a few types of problems.  Just for the record, I'm not in marketing ;-),
  18. and this information is for my little brain only.

  20.    The sorts of things I guess I'm looking for are :

  22.     What kind of problems are you solving?
  23.  
  24.     What kind of machines are you solving them on?
  25.  
  26.     Did you use any software tools to help with the parallelization?
  27.  
  28.     Are you using seperate processes communicating with a shared
  29.        memory ( SysV or Irix arenas ) or sproc'ed type threads?
  30.  
  31.     Which books or classes did you use to learn what you know about
  32.        parallel programming and multi-processing?
  33.
