  14. Has anyone sucessfully built gnu emacs under 4.0.5? We have a working
  15. version under 4.0.2 R3000 indigos, but when we dump the image on the
  16. R4000 it doesn't.

  18. If we compile as we did for R3000 machine, when it dumps it aborts
  19. with the informative message, Termination 139.
  20.  
  21. If we compile -mips2, we get the message:
  22. unexec: input file magic number is 163, not 162 or 160
  23.  
  24. If someone has worked through this, we'd be interested in the result.

  26. Since there are nearly uncountable infinite versions of 4.0.5, versions says:
