- Has anyone sucessfully built gnu emacs under 4.0.5? We have a working
- version under 4.0.2 R3000 indigos, but when we dump the image on the
- R4000 it doesn't.
-
- If we compile as we did for R3000 machine, when it dumps it aborts
- with the informative message, Termination 139.
-
- If we compile -mips2, we get the message:
- unexec: input file magic number is 163, not 162 or 160
-
- If someone has worked through this, we'd be interested in the result.
-
- Since there are nearly uncountable infinite versions of 4.0.5, versions says:
- I eoe1 08/04/92 Execution Only Environment 1, 4.0.5BV
-
- Thanks.
